Academic Phases
Two Distinct Learning Journeys
Junior Prep
Grades 1–3
- Foundation to learning: Reading, writing, listening and mathematics are taught in a hands-on way, both explicitly & through play
- Phonics & numeracy: Letterland phonics and NumberSense mathematics lay the groundwork for strong concept development
- Theme-Based approach: Pupils further explore and expand on ideas presented in structured thematic units through IT, movement, music and Design & Technology
- Holistic development: Character, social skills and work ethic are developed in a nurturing environment
Senior Prep
Grades 4–7
- Stepping up: Greater independence, leadership and responsibility with supportive teachers
- Instruments & adventures: Guitar lessons and adventure/leadership trips outdoors
- Tech that matters: Technology as research tool with digital citizenship training
- Benchmarks & feedback: External tests and progress checks prepare for College
